Why
does the institution take
the payment and delivery?
We have asked schools and TAFEs to receive all payments as
this will ensure they receive the recognition and donations they
are entitled to for their support. It aids in providing an accurate
tracking mechanism for both EasyTec and the institution. If orders
were taken from the institution, but payment was made direct
to EasyTec, there may be discrepancies in the number of orders,
and less control by the school or TAFE in the process.
We prefer that delivery be
made to the institution as it reduces courier costs due to consistent
school hours. This is why EasyTec can deliver complete systems
for only $29.95 state wide.
How does the warranty work?
When we deliver an EasyTec computer or laptop, we affix our
support phone number (1800 112 101). Students are encouraged
to call us should they experience any problems.
If we diagnose over the
phone that there is a hardware problem, we will send a courier
to collect
the equipment. Once our
service department receives the equipment, we will do a complete
test and make any repairs needed. If the
problem is virus or software
related, or user error, we will ask the customer to pay the
freight, as well as a service charge.
How much does it cost to register?
There are no registration fees or charges.
What if our students don’t take up the offer?
It would be unfortunate for your school or TAFE, as you will
receive no donation benefit for participation.
Can the school purchase these computer packages?
Yes, certainly. We would even discuss discounts for orders
over 5.
How does Payment work?
We ask that your students order from your main office and
make their payment directly to the school or TAFE. We provide
an order form that clearly calculates the student package and
allows the institution to receive all monies from the student,
with space provided to receive credit card, cash or direct debit.
The top side of the order
form is faxed to EasyTec
(02 9439 0240) with:
- Registration code clearly
marked
- Name of school or TAFE
liaison person
- Preferred payment method
to EasyTec
EasyTec then proceeds
with the transaction
and dispatches the order.
